Brian Teets was born and raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan, graduated from Eastern Michigan University, and later received his Master of Business Administration from Davenport University. Brian started his early career working in the educational system teaching High School business classes for 20 years. During those years, he taught personal finance and became pretty well-versed in the area of everything finance. Many family members, friends, and coworkers often asked him for information on retirement planning and making financial decisions.

 

Brian has taught classes through adult Financial Education Services, a nonprofit, for several years. His goal is to help those who are planning on retiring make the right sound decision. Brian’s focus has always been creating informed clients before making any financial decisions.

 

Brian works closely with clients to meet their goals and maximize their financial success. He takes a holistic approach to each individual’s wealth management plan, taking into consideration the client’s budget, age, values, and lifestyle. He believes in building lasting relationships with clients so they feel comfortable discussing their finances and can count on him to provide sound advice.


Wyandotte was chosen to set up Safe Haven Wealth Management with its close proximity to the expanding business environment of the area. When Brian is not at his office helping clients, he spends time with his wife and two children.
