If you’ve saved $500k or more for retirement, the tax strategy for distributing your wealth is just as important as the strategy that helped you build it — and the years right before and after retirement are often where the most consequential decisions are made.

Join us for a complimentary dinner and focused presentation at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse where we’ll cover some of the specific strategies that matter most at this stage:

  • The retirement tax window between retirement and age 73 — why it may be the most valuable planning opportunity you have, and what could happen if you let it pass.
  • Roth conversions — how they work, how much to convert, and why converting the wrong amount in the wrong year can trigger unintended tax consequences
  • IRMAA and Medicare surcharges — the income thresholds that cause your Medicare premiums to spike, and how to plan around them before they hit.
  • How Social Security timing can affect the taxes on your other retirement income — and why when you claim is a tax decision, not just an income decision.
  • Why planning these strategies together as a coordinated system can produce dramatically different outcomes than handling them separately.
  • What to ask your current advisor — the specific questions that can help reveal whether your retirement plan accounts for all of this.

Why This Evening Is Worth Your Time

Focused, Advisor-Led Discussion

A clear, engaging presentation from a knowledgeable financial professional on the retirement tax strategies that can provide potential for the greatest impact — Roth conversions, IRMAA planning, Social Security optimization, and how they work together. No jargon. No generic advice.

A Personalized Next Step

Every attendee will have the opportunity to receive a no cost retirement tax analysis — a snapshot of how these strategies may apply to your specific situation, including Roth conversion modeling, IRMAA threshold planning, and Social Security timing.

A Single Roth Conversion Mistake Can Cost Tens of Thousands or More in Unnecessary Taxes*

Most retirees don’t realize that Roth conversions, Social Security, and Medicare premiums are deeply connected — and that a decision in one area can trigger costly consequences in the others.

Convert too much to a Roth in one year, and the income spike can push up to 85% of your Social Security benefits to be taxable, trigger IRMAA surcharges on your Medicare premiums, and bump you into a higher tax bracket — all at once.

But a well-timed, well-coordinated conversion strategy can potentially reduce your total lifetime tax burden while creating tax-free income for your later years, your spouse, or your heirs.

Join us for a straightforward conversation about how to get this right — and what it looks like when all the pieces are working together rather than against each other.
