Trent has been a Retirement Specialist for the past eighteen years and has ran and owned offices in Southern Utah, Northern Utah and Idaho. Trent is currently a member of the Certified Fraud Examiners and MDRT committee as well.
He has great passion in further assisting his clients and treating them the way he would like to be treated! He has earned three different degrees from Universities, including the medical field of Physical Therapy where he gained a real importance on really connecting with his patients and now clients. Trent has a beautiful family with seven children and loves life!

Steve Goodwill | Goodwill Law
Steve is the owner of Goodwill Law, a firm dedicated to excellent client service and peace of mind that provides thoughtful, comprehensive estate planning for individuals and families. Steve has broad and deep expertise in all facets of estate planning, including basic wills and trusts, special consideration for the concerns faced by families with children and blended families, and partnering with the client’s team of financial and tax planners to provide superior asset protection and tax relief for clients at every step in their wealth building journey. He is also specially trained and experienced in Medicaid crisis support and planning, ensuring clients are prepared to manage the stress and financial expense associated with aging and long-term care.
Steve has practiced law for almost three decades, serving in the United States Air Force for 30 years, providing comprehensive in-house counsel for corporations and the State of Utah, and collaborating with individuals and their families to help them plan for whatever life may bring. Steve helps clients put plans in place that will keep them and their loved ones out of court and out of conflict while protecting their assets from taxes and potential creditors.
Steve earned his JD from the University of Utah College of Law, Salt Lake City, Utah, and holds an MA in Political Science and a BS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. In addition to his primary work in estate planning, Steve is also a Patent Attorney, registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and an experienced business attorney helping companies of all sizes manage legal risk as they grow.
Steve serves as a board member for the American Patriot Service Corp (APSC), a national 501(c)(3) charitable organization established by Veterans to assist wartime Veterans and their surviving spouses in applying for VA benefits earned through their service. He is also a member of the Salt Lake Community College Planning Giving Advisory Council. In this role, he helps the College raise funds to provide scholarships and needed assistance for its programs and students.
Steve and his wife, Nicole, live in Herriman, Utah. They have seven children and seven grandchildren, and enjoy travel, golf, and spending time with family and friends.
