Meet Your Host

Fred Lowry, CRC®, BrightPath Retirement Solutions
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Fred began is financial services career in 2011 with Asset Protectors and Advisors, a national insurance agency specializing in retirement planning solutions. In 2013, he was promoted to National Sales Director. There he ran a team that supported over two thousand financial advisors across the country. He trained financial advisors through classes, conferences, and webinars on every aspect of retirement planning.

In 2018, Fred accepted a position as Director of Sales with Prosperity Software Solutions. There he built financial tools to help consumers understand complicated financial concepts, built modules for online training, and helped to develop a relationship management system adopted by a billion dollar company. In 2019, he accepted a position at BrightPath Retirement Solutions.

Fred and his wife, son, and daughter currently reside in Raleigh. He enjoys working out, playing board games with friends, and spending time with family.

Brian DeBruin, CRC®, BrightPath Retirement Solutions

A graduate of North Carolina State University, Brian began his financial services career in 1996 with LTC Global, a national insurance agency specializing in long-term care solutions. Seeking to expand his practice, he acquired his securities license and began a role as a regional manager within a Guardian insurance agency in 2003. He spent the next decade at Guardian, furthering his knowledge and developing the skills necessary to assist individuals with the pursuit of their financial goals.


In 2014, Brian started a position with Asset Protectors and Advisors as a retirement planning specialist and became a top performer before accepting an offer from BrightPath Retirement Solutions in 2019. An adjunct professor at Wake Tech Community College, his commitment to financial education remains a key component of his career as he strives to help others design a secure retirement.


Brian and his wife Ashley have two daughters, Tyler and Emerson, and currently reside in Holly Springs. He enjoys golf, tennis, fishing, reading, spending time with his family, and is active in his church.
