Meet Your Host

Jon Parkhurst, President - Parkhurst Financial Services

President, Jon Parkhurst graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Business from Miami of Ohio University and spent seven years as a CPA at the Cleveland office of Ernst & Young, LLP before joining Parkhurst Financial Services in 2002. In 2005 Jon earned the prestigious CFP designation. Jon is part of the Select Adviser Group at SEI Private Trust Company. He meets annually with top SEI executives, portfolio managers, and economists to discuss where the firm and markets are headed. Jon also works with FP Transitions, a nationally acclaimed valuation and consulting firm, through an annual nationwide study, to benchmark how our firm is doing against some of the top firms in the country. Jon is responsible for conducting the firm’s due diligence of the fund families whose products we offer.   He also does market research on other investment firms and companies to make sure we are current and up to date in a constantly evolving industry.  He is currently a member of a national study group.  In his free time, Jon enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Becky and two teenage sons.

Thomas Windom, Parkhurst Financial Services
Thomas has been in the financial services industry since 2015, working in various companies’ insurance sales and retirement planning. He has his Series 7, Series 66, and Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses and is working toward obtaining the CFP® certification. In addition, Thomas has a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Kent State University and was a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of South Florida and Notre Dame College. Thomas works alongside Jon to service our existing clients and will help with our marketing efforts to bring new clients to the firm. In addition to these services, Thomas works with clients to develop customized financial and retirement plans. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys going to new restaurants with his wife, grilling, playing volleyball, working out, and playing with his two dogs.
