Your Presenters

Jamie Powell, CFP® | Capital Advisory Services
Jamie is originally from South Bend, Indiana and is a 1981 graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington. She has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Advertising. After spending six years as a sales manager in the trucking industry, she joined Financial Care Corporation. She completed the Certified Financial Planner Professional Education Program in 1991 and is fully licensed to provide knowledgeable advice regarding securities and insurance needs. In 1988 Jamie began working as a sole proprietor and is currently doing business as Capital Advisory Services, LLC. She is a Certified Financial Planning Practitioner and a Financial Representative.

Jamie and her husband, Jan, have been married since 1983 and have three children, Adam, Alexandra and Zachary. They also continue to actively support the Rare Disease Family Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by their daughter, Alex, which supports children and young adults and their families living with a rare disease.
David Leisring | Capital Advisory Services

David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Dayton in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a minor in accounting, and a specialization in Investment Management. He was also a 3x Academic All American for Division I FCS Football in 2016, 2017, and 2018. David is a Licensed Financial Professional, Investment Advisor Representative. Prior to joining Capital Advisory Services, LLC, David worked for GE Aerospace Finance for 4 years. There, he graduated from their Financial Management Program.

David also acquired his Series 7 Security License along with the Series 66 and Ohio Life & Health Insurance license in 2023. He has been a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative since 2023.

David grew up on the west side of town, attended St. Xavier High School, and played football and lacrosse. Some hobbies outside the office include skiing and reading. David has two siblings: Kathleen and Philip. In May of 2024, David married Alex, his longtime college sweetheart. David and Alex reside in Oakley.
